Marula seed oil is yellowish to pink in colour with a fruity, nutty odour. It is extracted from the kernel of the fruits of the Marula trees (also known as Sclerocarya Birrea) and displays a fruity, floral scent with a nutty undertone.
We have our very own supply of Marula oil from Mozambique.
We offer both organic and conventional grades.
Each Marula fruit contains two or three kernels. These kernels are carefully removed from inside the seed and cold pressed to extract the oil.
The marula fruit is usually harvested between January to April.
